Mock Halo

Simple may the steps taken,
The sweet breadth of granduer passing each cobblestone.
Stumbling with grace.
The quest for nothing more than the serenity
To ease the omnipresent crave.
Somewhere to rest in the oceans of grass,
The lapping of waves placates the moon and gently splashes stars.
A breeze of lovers warmth,
Wisping the lush lavender to inhale.
A solitary dragonfly,
Aloft and carried, as a symbolic guide.
The the triumphant march towards the feast of longing.
Valiant and noble be the warrior of heart.
Stay strong in thine quest,
Prometheus' gift kept within through the fray.
There be rest and the victor's welcome home ahead.
Live strong and live free be thine past credo,
The smattering of swords left far behind.
Echoes only in mind,
all but forgotten.
Dogma evolving,
Angels sing to the fore,
Lavish this eve with ambrosia tones for the meritorious one.
"Rise up with us,
Thee of halo faux,
And find thee true splendor with We.
Eternal joy and splendor have embraced thee.
Walk on effervescent one.
Know finally your efforts were not in vain.
Your children have your graces,
Your sword finally sheathed.
Praise be unto Thee."

Please God,
Grant me the serenity to accept the fact that the human race is all things good and all things evil at the same time for all time.
Grant me the courage and strength not to give up on what I know is right even though I know it's hopeless.
And please give me the wisdom to take it day by day.
